Thousands of Passengers Thronged to Kampung Rambutan Terminal

Entering long weekend holidays, a number of people have been crowding at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal, East Jakarta today, Friday (4/14). Reportedly, its number keeps increasing significantly since Thursday (4/13) until Friday (4/14) noon.

This long holiday is indeed showing a significant surge, which is 189 percent than regular days

Kampung Rambutan Terminal Head, Emiral August Dwinanto disclosed, the first shift from 8 AM-2 PM, the number of bus passengers that have been departed is reaching 1,015 people with 142 buses. It is increasing than regular days, which only reached 300 passengers. 

Approaching Nyepi Holiday, Kampung Rambutan Terminal Deserted

Even, last Thursday at 8 AM until today at 8 AM, its number has reached 2,752 passengers using 416 buses.

"This long holiday is indeed showing a significant surge, which is 189 percent than regular days," he uttered.

He assessed, most passengers take homecoming to some cities in Central Java, such as Wonosobo, Tegal, Purwokerto and Karang Pucung. And for West Java, most passengers go to Tasikmalaya, Garut, Cianjur and Subang.
